1. Quotations & Pricing

Quotation Validity

Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue and are subject to immediate stock availability. Prices may change without prior notice due to component cost fluctuations.

2. Payment Terms

Payment Requirements

100% pre-payment is required when devices and specialized hardware (including imports) are ordered. Payment via EFT is preferred.

Title of Goods

Goods remain the sole property of Galvitech until full and final payment for the associated services and hardware is received.

3. Service & Responsibility

Data & Software Responsibility

The Customer is solely responsible for verifying and maintaining data backup; Galvitech is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to recover data. Software sales are final once activated or delivered.

Diagnostics Fee

A fee may be applied if the full quoted repair or service is declined by the Customer.

Digitization Services

All fees associated with digitization are 100% payable in advance prior to the commencement of any work.

Scope of Work

The quoted labour covers only the specific hardware installation and data migration activities agreed upon. Any additional work requested outside of this defined scope will be charged separately at the standard hourly rate.

Weekend Work

Labour rates are based on standard business hours (Monday to Friday). Work performed over a weekend will require an increased rate.

4. Warranty & Collection

Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage is structured as follows:

  • Hardware: All new hardware components carry the standard manufacturer's warranty, which will be passed through to the client.
  • Workmanship: Warranty covers workmanship (labour) only. Exclusions apply to all software, operating system (OS) failure, and data loss.

Item Collection

Items not collected after 30 days from the date of job completion notification may be subject to storage fees or disposal to recover outstanding costs.
